HIBISCUS is a multi-center, phase 2/3, randomized, double-blind, placebo (PBO)-controlled trial investigating the efficacy and safety of etavopivat in SCD. During ASH 2024 congress in San Diego, Julie Kanter (co-director of the Lifespan Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center, professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology fo University of Alabama at Birmingham, director of the UAB Adult Sickle Cell Clinic) reported 52-week data from the phase 2 part of the trial.
